Ok, someone here has to know: where do they do this silly little Pitti Uomo thing? Is it Florence?
I know that peacocking kinda comes with the territory, but I’d be sweating like a whore in church wearing an overcoat over a flannel suit in that weather.

You’re correct. It’s in Florence, held twice a year.

Not sure the exact temps this past week (when Pitti was actually going in), but the upcoming forecast for the next few days looks like lows in the mid 20s to low 30s (F) with highs in the mid to upper 40s.

Sounds like perfect flannel suit with an overcoat weather.

It appears much less pleasant during the summer Pittis

Pitti was Jan 10-13. With highs of 60 F, if you run warm, you could easily sweat out a flannel suit and overcoat.
