Some of the many vacant stores in the Century City (West Los Angeles) mall have been disguised as photo backgrounds for the wall scouters of Instagram.

IMG_6082.jpeg

Brooks Brothers camel hair jacket, cotton cable knit sweater vest, and pink OCBD shirt, Polo Ralph Lauren tie, Squarextraordinaire pocket square, Orvis cotton flannel trousers, and Allen-Edmonds saddle shoes.

Close up of the trousers and shoes.

For fans of "Piece-Of-A-Person" pictures, a piece of a person with a Chinese Chicken Salad at The Sugar Factory in Century City picture.

IMG_6089.jpeg

Connie sewers of food may wish to compare my Chinese Chicken Salad with the picture of the Chinese Chicken Salad on menu on The Sugar Factory website, as well as look at the pictures of the $39.50 mixed drinks (I had a glass of water) and the $20.00 ice creams (I went somewhere else and had a $2.00 macaron for dessert).

Fans of celebrities may wish to look through the many pages of celebrities at The Sugar Factory pictures. Looked though the pictures. Did not find a name or a face I recognized so have no idea what these people are celebrated for.

We recently were once again allowed to eat outside. Weren't many people eating outside today because it was cold and windy. My cloth napkin only blew away once and I was able to recapture it before it got too far.

These are the new rules for eating outside in Los Angeles.

Extra Added Attraction: A picture of not real flowers and not real grass at the Century City mall.

Once upon a time there was a singing flower seller at the Century City mall who sold real flowers from his cart.

Extra Added Attraction Part Deux: Winner of the world's ugliest dinner jacket contest.

A special Saturday edition of posting for me, as it's been a very casual week so far. Today's jacket is my latest "crime of opportunity" - a sale item from my local branch of New & Lingwood, a jacket of very lightweight construction - no lining, no shoulder pads. As it is, I am on my way this afternoon to pick up my second-latest "crime", a suit from Paul Stuart, which should be ready from alterations - photos to be posted soon.

Jacket & face mask - New & Lingwood
Shirt & trousers - Brooks Brothers
Tie - Museum of Fine Arts, Boston
Cufflinks - Trywhitt
Boots - Paul Stuart house brand
Overcoat - Joseph Abboud
Scarf - Fortnum & Mason
Hat - Laird, London . . .

How come many of your jackets still have the stitching on the button hole?
Apology for delayed answer, Suit is New Arrival, 90% of my purchases are online and venders want produce intact (Basting/Stitching) upon return. On the fence about this one, It's a 42r, with a slight pull (bubble) across the back shoulder - may let out the back 1/4 inch, with no current tailor! 80% of my wardrobe is new - from, 235-185lbs
