I keep thinking that jacket is too bold for me to wear (it also wouldn't look that great on a blonde/blue-eyed dude) but I'm still looking at it. What's the pants detail? (I am implying I want to get in your pants).

Hehehe. Those are cotton/linen from Sondrio. They are described as brown denim cotton/linen.

Fall colors abound. Second time wearing these brown pants and again I put together an unintentionally vintage look with them. Maybe it’s unavoidable. Brown pants just scream vintage. Colors are not this saturated. I’m tired of trying to fix colors on my phone.

The yellow shirt and red tie are what tip it into vintage. Pale blue shirt and avoiding the red compliment would "modernize" it a bit.

After two days of rain (Monday's deluge, and Tuesday's Grim drizzle) the sun has returned to NYC, and I've returned to suits.

Suit - Paul Stuart/Phineas Cole
Shirt & cufflinks - Brooks Brothers
Tie - Drake's
Braces - Paul Stuart
Pocket square - Harvie & Hudson, London
Shoes - Magnanni for Bergdorf Goodman
Face mask - New & Lingwood

I'm curious... what were you trying to achieve here? What were you thinking about as you selected the items you put on? What, if any, was your inspiration?

Was going for a dark color combination, and this is the first time I've worn this dark red shirt. I thought the dark hues would've worked together?

I don’t want to start a fight or anything. Me manly beard just kinda gets in the way of a shot of the tie knot.

I like everything but the shoes. They look vintage, but in a bad way in my opinion. The twisted gold bit and the extra long tongue give off a pilgrim vibe. I do love suede, but these aren't doing it for me. Beard is boss.
