I recently picked up an SBGX069. The brushed/polished titanium really appealed to me but at my size, it's just altogether too small. I'll stick to what I know - about 40mm & up. But those GS's sure are lookers!

Here's me today - my watch and my tie.

That's a very nice IWC. For my arms 40 mm are the maximum. The right size ist 36 mm to 40 mm.

That IWC is a very nice looking bit of kit there Eli. I’m trying to resist the temptation to acquire more watches. I lean heavily towards sports watches in my box but I could definitely carve out a ‘business formal’ niche for something along those lines. Did you get it at the boutique on Madison or get a better deal elsewhere? Anyway good luck with it, it looks great!

How are the Morjas holding up? They must have spent quite a bit on marketing having some of the biggest IG-accounts model for them and therefore I am a little reluctant to get a pair. Are they as good as what these people say?
My two cents -
I ordered the penny loafers in burgundy grain.
They were the best fitting loafers I’ve ever tried with a nice narrow heel cup that gripped the foot so no sliding. The apron toe was a bit shorter than I expected but not a big deal, still a good looking shoe. The stamping of the grain wasn’t even between the shoes especially on the penny straps.
But the biggest deal breaker for me was that I was hoping for a deep red burgundy colour. These were SO dark that in bright light they just looked VERY dark brown and in anything less than that they just looked black. I sent them back. It was a real disappointment as if they’d been the colour I was hoping for they’d have a real niche market. I looked long and hard to find some red-burgundy grain loafers since and couldn’t find any. Certainly not near that price range. The fit was great but I understand theyve changed their lasts since then. They now do a smooth grain burgundy loafer which I’m sure will also look all-but-black, and they revived the burgundy grain for some limited orders and when I enquired I came away expecting I’d have the same issue, so I passed.
