Thanks man! Excited to receive the goods, not sure if I ever followed up but we are doing a sick brown fresco casual 3/2 with patched pockets. Went with MTM for starters. Should be wunderbar.

I didn’t know, but the majority of people don’t wear jeans and ties. So there was a better than 50% chance I was right. I didn’t state it earlier, but the jeans are what make me think this should be in the casual thread and not the presences or abscence of a tie.

I did post a non tie outfit here, but I usually spoiler all my pics when I do so. You caught a rare time that I did not. I will occasionally post a non tie outfit here when I feel the out fit looks more formal.

Again, these are only my opinions about what should go in this thread. Do what you think is best.

That said I wear a tie with jeans often if not for anything else just to dress the outfit up and if you can pull it off I think it’s a larger accomplishment than pulling off an entirely dress outfit. I think that’s why the Sport Coat with Jeans thread is always so interesting due to the fact that its more difficult or shouldn’t even be attempted according to some folks commenting on that tread.

Dude wear and post what you like. If you’re a denim guy you honestly might get more love in the casual WAYWRN or in the SW&D side. You look good, it’s just outside the look of this thread. I love the crew that posts here but it is a narrow look book.

Nobody will stop you from posting in this thread @Dave Gieringer . I think that a few people here just suggested that there is a mirror thread on the CM side of SF for casual fits where you will find plenty of fits similar to yours. You also have the option to post in the SW&D side where there is also a similar thread as this one where people post their daily fits. View this as consumer advice in order for you to get out as much as possible from SF, rather than anyone trying to get rid of you.
