Great stuff @coxsakie, @willing to learn, and @veni..., you guys are really bringing it today. @veni wins the shoe game imo. Those suede are sweet. @cox you need those suede to go with that terrific suit. Btw, ladies do indeed notice our shoes first. I tend to have a shoe habit most of all

Is the Apple Watch a fashionable piece or should a gentleman wear a traditional watch?

Most guys in the TWAT (watch appreciation thread) wouldn't be caught dead with an Apple watch, myself included. It's not that it's a bad product per se, but for the price, I could buy another (mechanical) watch much more to my liking. Apple has gotten enough of my money with my iMac, iPod, iPhone, 2x iPad - they don't need to sell me a watch on top of that!

Just get the Hermes version. Problem solved.

Good thinking. Throw your dress shoes in your purse and enjoy a comfortable walk to work/lunchtime stroll. :nodding:

Properly fitting and worn in dress shoes should be at least as comfortable as trainers. And less painful to the eyes.

@A.J.V very nice (love the shoes!), but the suit looks a bit tight...

@Claghorn shoes that have served you so well for so long deserve a good polishing. :)

Edit: on a related note, ladies tend to notice shoes since they believe it gives them an indication how a guy maintains himself and how well he can maintain her.

While I've heard this before, I don't think I'll ever agree with it...except on that painful to the eyes part. That is gospel haha.

Great fit, i really like. Maybe the sleeves are a bit long but otherwise it's simply perfect. I just wonder why you wear black shoes with a brown suit... ?

Suit may look brown in the "tie" shot but it's actually maroon with red overchecks. No brown in it whatsoever.

Black chelsea boots would have been sweet.

OK, buy me some. Darling.

@Coxsackie I'm with Monkey on the green dots. Too vibrant for the palette established by the other items.

Yeah...noted. I equivocated on this tie but my plain black knit is in Sydney and I ended up just going with this dotted one. In my defence, there's green in the PS.

Great stuff @coxsakie, @willing to learn, and @veni..., you guys are really bringing it today...@cox you need those suede to go with that terrific suit.

But me no got no black suede chukkas

. [see above]

However you and jcm have made a wonderful suggestion. I do have a pair of brown chukkas with burgundy elastic inserts. Would be a killer match with the suit. Next time...
