The second photo it's a rich grey with blues to it. In the first photo, it's Air Force blue. My guess is you find the colour presentation harsh in the first photo.

When I ignore the second photo, I actually "acclimate" to the first one and start to enjoy it. Anyway, I really like the jacket. Does it have matching pants @Caustic Man?

Assuming u r serious, I think only ppl on SF and a few others would even know the difference between a grenadine and a challis/madder/repp/linen/wool knit etc

Since you describe it that way I guess neither photo is true to life. The first pic is closer to the actual color, but there is no gray in it at all. It's all blues, from navy on up.

Not crazy about exotic animal shoes but it does work here. About 70% on board with those. Otherwise I'm 100% on board. Very nice indeed.
