No. A shirt with too-short sleeves.

I like it, Lufty. I'll give you the obligatory "I'd like it more with cuffs" that you're surely expecting, but you look good, counselor. Suit is by...?

Thank you. I'm sure gf would be flattered.....non-hetero or breeder alike.

Not a costume. It's the real deal....100% wool, full dress, peaked-lapels, w/ tails. The pictures were taken by other people in the evening and so I had no control over the lighting or how they would come out. The tuxedo was obviously not the photographer's main focus, and I was usually in motion when photos were shot....so no robot poses available....appologies. It does fit rather well though, as I was able to dance in it quite comfortably for two nights this year and last year as well.

The event I attended had a dress code that required formal evening dress (tuxedos for the men) w/ mask at bare minimum for entrance. A black suit worn properly could work, but anything less would get you turned away at the door with tickets in hand. It was a masquerade ball and considering some of the wild and elaborate costumes many people showed up in, I definitely did not feel over dressed.

I don't see a problem with wearing a full-dress tuxedo w/ tail coat for Halloween as long as you're planning on dressing up as the Penguin from Batman.

Cuffs are an impossibility, unfortunately, as these pants are at their longest.

Suit is ::gasp:: Banana Republic.

This is my new summer suit inspired by the Naples style that I adore. I would like to know your opinion.

Hermes shirt
Kiton jeans

My girl friend seriously disapproves of any white shoes and says everyone looks leanner in black.
And although she is always right, shes unfortunately is not here and its summer.

Does it have a name/sculptor plaque on it? And, you look so nice and relaxed on it..

Man you should keep rockin those jeans. The the jacket seems a bit euro though, looks odd combined with the classic western american jeans. Also, if youre wearing americana jeans, try to pair em with boots rather lace ups, more of a southern state vibe.

anybody else think that east coast prep and southern state traditionals don't mix?

Looking pretty good. However, you could have done well with emerald green or washed out red chinos. That way you could have reached for brown kicks and spared the girlfriend haha

I have a similar BR suit. Given how infrequently I can wear it, the price per wear is just right.
