And hilarious. Eddie Izzard plays a great sociopath.

Still pissed about the AZN under glass.

i need to get caught up on this season but i'm disappointed it is over...

The first half - the Italy arc - is overdone and weakened the story of the Red Dragon. It would have been more satisfying had an episode or two been trimmed down from the former and that time given to the latter.

Regardless, I was enthralled by this series and am curious as to whether anything can fill this unique void.

I missed the very last scene with Scully at the dining table. What was going on there?

A little overdone, but I thought overall better than the movie.

Both are in fact better than the movie iterations. I am hoping someone pics up the series and continues it.

Bryan Fuller said in an interview after the final episode that co-producer Martha De Laurentiis was looking into a feature film option, and he also suggested a miniseries. That is assuming Dancy, Mikkelsen and the others are still available. Fuller even waxed optimistic that the rights to "The Silence of the Lambs" might become an possibility.
