It's better than most stuff out there. Definitely not the best, but I got a pair of GUESS Premium for around $80. I would never buy anything there not on the clearance rack. I was skeptical at first. I bought them because they fit well and had a nice wash. After about 6 months, I'm actually decently impressed by them. And no, GUESS and Guess Premium are different labels just like Paul Smith has PS and Paul Smith, or how Giorgio Armani has Giorgio Armani, Armani, and Mani or how Christian Audiger has Christian Audiger and Ed Hardy. They're not the same.

this whole thread strikes me as some sort of viral marketing gone wrong, some items look nice but fabric and construction sucks, the jeans in particular are garbage, I think i have one shirt from them that I like, a simple logo'd shirt that I turn inside out because the inside lning is incredibly cool and doesn't look like I turned a shirt inside out.

That says a lot. I put them on the same level as hollister or abercrombie.

My girlfriend is able to make some of their stuff look nice, but then again girls can spend 100$ or 10,000 on an outfit and still look stylish , assuming they have some fashion sense. Guys can't really do it that easily.

I used to own a pink guess long sleeve shirt, After washing like less than 10 times, it faded to something like the colour of my skin. Talk about quality. Now it is ditched to the Salvation Army.

Guess always has a bunch of casual button-up shirts that would be awesome (at least at outlet prices) had they not screen-printed random spots with all sorts of Bavarian or techno crap. The number of times I've looked around in a Guess outlet only to find a great shirt ruined by a stupid print on the back or one shoulder or whatever -- well, it's a large number, that's what it is.

Agreed... every now and then I've found some simple casual stripes there without any embellishment, though.

And FYI Guess is another one of those companies that makes a lot of separate items specifically for the outlets. Much of the stuff from the retail stores never goes there.
