I read a few pages past this photo/post with people saying that it's intent is for the middle of the room. I think it would be great to be along the wall since everyone sitting would have access to their drinks without the need of a coffee table. I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet.

Pedantically speaking, "groupthink" is a pejorative. No surprise that it is used as a descriptor for others but never oneself.

Speaking of others; monk strap shoes. I never knew monks were so popular. I think maybe one's rank should be demonstrated by how many buckles they have on them

In which case pocketsquareguy would be the grand pooh-bah. Seriously though, when I saw the pictures he posted of his Bontoni triple-monks I was skeptical, but when I saw them in person at the first SF in SF meet-up, I thought they looked shockingly good.
