Will you consider 905 as a Ptb? I am trying to get a gmto of 905 either in dark brown or brick lama going...

What last is that? Sorry on a train and don't have access to seeing what that exactly is

I could potentially be persuaded on a medallion, though I'd want to find some pics of lama with brogueing to make sure the holes don't get lost. Also, I generally agree with @justinkapur that lama is going to look best on a more casual shoe. I like unadorned wholecuts because they are paradoxically both formal and surprisingly able to be dressed down --- e.g. black wholecuts with a conservative business dress suit or with black denim --- due to the lack of ornamentation. Lama wholecuts would be slammin with jeans.

Others may not agree with that logic but that's why I'm interested in it.

It might be interestingly cool. I just am not 100% sold on a whole cut. To me I see where a whole cut can be casual but to me I always invision a black sharp whole cut. Super dressy. So I prefer to never envision a wholecut made with a casual leather.

Does that make sense or no?

Totally get it. It's possible I have an irrational obsession with wholecuts that makes me think they go with everything. The sharp, smooth calf wholecut is the classic for sure.

I'm probably less than 50% likely on it but if nobody's up for a wholecut I think a Detroit PTB would be interesting.

I'm in on the NST. I'd also like to do a dub monk in brick or brown llama. Either the cap toe in Inca or the austerity wing tip in Rain like this

Is there blue llama? Monks would look dope in that, provided its a deep enough shade.

Dark Burgundy Tassels, uetam last. Sizing is interesting. Length wise they are great. A little tight across ball of foot. I was looking for a dark loafer and these nailed it. Thank-you, Steve!

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
