Is it me, or does the Rain last make the apron more square, compared to the Skoak MTO pic of the 803 in chestnut?

I like the rounded apron.

I have the Carmina scotch grain shoe and it's fantastic. No problems with the finish. That was the hatch grain version of pair with chestnut-ish finish. It was wearing off after a short while.

Definitely also interested in an 803. Not sure I care whether it's queens or rain. Would definitely prefer a lighter color and would consider grain or no grain. Also not sure I care about the sole.

Does the 803 come in Rain? I thought the split you're was only on Queens and Simpson. I'd be glad to be wrong about that, though.

As long as Queens fits closer to Rain than Simpson I'm in.

I'd say it's closer to Simpson than Rain.  It's in the "this last won't work for me" category along with Simpson.

Are you sure roger? My understanding is that queens is one of carmina roomier lasts.

I think Roger is correct. Queens is more or less identical to Simpsons besides a more generous instep. And i find Queens one of the most compelling lasts from Carmina with its almond toe and sleek last. An 803 on Queens is a beautiful shoe!

Gents, great news I think we may have enough for the 803 GMTO.

Carmina 803
QUEENS last (apparently rain is unavailable; hopefully this isn't a dealbreaker for anyone)
leather sole
chestnut scotchgrain if available, or plain chestnut calf if not

I have the following people listed as "yes"
MRMstl (me)
Patliean1
Mimo
Tallcane
Sportin_life

And the following as a "Maybe"
Eljlakers
NewShoes1
Anderz

If just ONE of the 'maybe's' can confirm then I think we are ready for flight on this GMTO.

Steve--please confirm the availability and a pic if possible of the chestnut grain leather sample.

The main thing for me is instep since mine is quite high. If it's more accommodating as mentioned I should still be a go.
Where as most people size down a full size from their US size when it comes to RAIN, I only size down a half size. SIMPSON is simply a no go for me. I'm hoping QUEENS still works

I am also out, looks like the Queens will be too narrow for me :(

…dang it
