How is the instep and width on the Oscar compared to the Simpson? I forget...

I'd say they fit quite similar. Take the same size in Oscar as you would in Simpson.

Slightly widish but it's generally accepted knowledge that Simpson is a narrow / low instep last while oscar is a normal width / instep last

I wear the same size in both. Obviously there are differences in how they feel, but the sizing is the same and I find them both comfortable enough.

I believe Oscar is slightly (just slightly) lower than Simpson in my opinion. But all that is quite irrelevant since this boot is derby style with open throat

Yes! Few new models will arrive with some of MTOs in mid-March I believe.
I dont have the exact dates yet as Carmina Factory is still manufacturing them as we speak
