He is definitely a pleasure to work with. I purchased the brown caps as well as the navy caps. I want to do a burgundy punch cap MTO before year end - Rain last of course.

Received my second pair of DM, this time in navy. Inca last is THE best fitting last for me. These look almost black indoors.

Thank you again Steve, it was a pleasure as always. Waiting on tobacco suede austerity brogues and grey suede loafer MTOs!
The loden PTBs on their maiden voyage. Please excuse the ugly hotel carpet.

Question regarding the 2 BOOT MTO's:

Which in the opinion of the thread is the more formal/suit appropriate. I need a pair of dress boots. I'm not set on bal boots and I think the dark brown scotch grain will not be too rugged looking with the dainite sole

I'm leaning towards the 973 on the rain last, mostly because of the last and the sole. Would appreciate your thoughts.

The 973 is the more formal but I've worn my black jumper boots with suits before and they didn't look out of place at all.

I plan on wearing my brown jumpers with flannels, etc so I don't think the scotchgrain will be out of place. Also, the scotchgrain looks less rugged in the dark brown.

Love the look of this model, but the Simpson last is a no-go for my wide feet. Would prefer the Rain last if possible. Also, is it possible to order an odd-sized pair of shoes from you as part of a GMTO? My left foot runs a half size larger than my right. Would I need to do an individual MTO for this?

exact opposite here.  simpson would be a green light; rain would need an epic makeup.

Indeed Rain would be epic makup but can Carmina provide us some more exotic colors? I mean what they have is pretty standard brown, tan, burgundy. How about some cherry, chestnut etc.

Would really like to see the U cap done up like this:

1000

I know this is the Simpson, but the U cap in this color (Burgundy on the Rain would be outstanding.

By the way super photo.
