I would be down for a red lining in the navy loafer too... Not sure if it's too late for that, but if it's not, I'd do red fo sho

****.
No.

Leave the damn thing at brown. Let's not get flashy with a navy loafer.

Yeah maybe I should have picked mrmundane.

I've taken to Steve Jobs quote. Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication. And red lining on blue shoes is too clown for my taste. Purple looked nice on some of the colors. I have a few MTOs that I didn't specify brown lining and I'm scared of what I'll see.

9 times out of 10 I'd be right there with you. I've just always thought of lining as one of those fun little details that no one really knows is there but you. And since that's the case, why not have some fun with it? That being said, lining is actually really inconsequential for me relative to the presentation of the rest of the shoe.

Purple, brown, and black are readily available so I don't think you'd need to worry. They will more than likely match the lining to the shoe color

I personally dont care about the loafer color it could be bright pink or brown or purple.

I do prefer something outlandish and peacockish normally but I think I would rather let the navy shine and not worry about whats inside the shoe.
