fused v. canvassed labeling

Not worth effort for the suit makers to do that. I don't think average consumers don't give crap about construction. Average consumers care about design, price, and designer label, I think.

I believe it wouldn't be viable because manufacturers would find a way to dilute and change the meaning of the term much like has been done with bespoke.

Besides its nice to know something about suits that not many other people know.

I'm still too dumb to know the difference. How can I tell them apart?

I've got two different brands among my 8 suits. I've got HSM and Albert Nipon. I can feel the difference between the two. Are they likely different?

Both suits you mentioned are likely fused but The HSM would use higher quality glue.

Probably because many brands have different lines. Too much risk of devaluing product.

I imagine that they don't label it because people who care can tell the difference without a label...

Besides, then non-canvassed suiters would add 1 square inch of "canvassing" somewhere & prominently label their suits "canvassed".
