Ok, time for a real one. @DiplomaticTies this has been really fun, thanks for organizing. I had fun doing Wu-Tang, but here's a real submission.

Eddie Cochran wasn't the guy that got me into guitar. He wasn't even close. Back when I started in my teens, I thought his music was simplistic, boring, and lazy. But as I got older and left my shredding days behind, I started to fall in love with the driving rhythms and subtle overdrive from his Gretsch. So I got one too. This singles album represents a lot of what he was to me. Someone who was loud and unapologetic. Someone who's every song spawned a million covers and rip offs. Someone who fathered a movement and gave a generation's worth of teenagers free license to shake their hips.

I agree with @Gsvs5, Monsieur. There have been some superb entries - imaginative, artistic, beautifully executed - but what separates your entry is that it is such a great outfit.

Perfectly happy with that. I was going to suggest you pick, given your extensive musical knowledge and interesting taste.

I had a few more submissions in mind (the Kodo-Blue Man Group collab would have been original, at least, and I thought of including some SW&D with the early days of hip hop in Marseille specifically the 6th track of L'Ecole du Micro d'Argent) alas life got in the way.
