Friday Challenge - Overcoats for Cold Weather

Well, I should've started this earlier, but life. Let's extend the deadline to next Friday.

When cooler weather hits, the fun of dressing gets taken up a notch or two. Layers come back, heavier fabrics, and one of my favorites - the overcoat - gets paraded in all its awesomeness.

I love overcoats, and look for any excuse to wear one. They elongate the body and wrap you up in cozy cool like nothing else. I think I have about five, which is 20 too few. For a refresher on what kinds of overcoats there are, check out this article on the Journal (and feel free to comment).

Anything goes in this challenge. Wear an overcoat with a suit? Fine. Jeans? No problem. With another overcoat? Probably not, but go ahead anyway.

Good question - any kind of overcoat will do.

even leaving his political views out of it he looks terrible. perhaps it's more to an english eye but that type of covert coat just looks sleazy.

Excuse the poor lighting and my camera skills, late 60's/early 70s navy blue evron crombie, white brutus shirt, stone chinos red socks and oxblood loake royals. Pierre cardin brolly and glasses direct ''cowboy'' sunglasses.
