There has been some great discussions and examples in the OCBD collar roll thread recently. So this week's challenge is to incorporate a button down collar into your outfit. A tie is optional. Oxford cloth is optional. BD collar is not optional. Outfit must be from this week. Poll goes up Sunday noonish eastern standard time. The winner should be the person who best incorporates a BD collar into an outfit.

Let the good times roll.

All pics are from the OCBD collar roll thread hence the close ups. Try to provide more than a close up pic if possible.

My modest contribution to this week's challenge, then . . .

I'm not a frequent wearer of BDs. Nothing against them really, just not my first choice. Therefore I'm cheating with these pics because they were not taken this week, but I wont have the chance to take any new pics this week. The BD is a linen shirt by Thom Sweeney.

I only have one basically, and it's on today! I do like wearing it though, so I'm ordering more this week actually from PC ;)

I kick it pretty casual typically, as seen here.

I'll play. And since it's AAS' challenge I figured I better ratchet things up a bit, by my standards anyway. Tie is a Liberty of London cotton print made for jcrew a few years back. Only posted it here a couple times to very mixed favor

It's way too skinny, but it is pretty summertastic. BD is Kamakura.

I'll be honest, I was pretty excited when I saw this challenge. Shirt is by Kamakura.

Cross posting from the casual thread:

Was not successful taking a close up photo of the collar (that's harder than it seems it ought to be), so I cropped a larger photo...

Shirt is from Epaulet, trousers Old Town, belt is Farnese, and shoes are Buday.

Here is my submission.

My humble entry for this sad morning, all my thought to my Nice's friends :

My deepest condolences to all French members. I have been to Nice less than two months ago. What a sad morning.

I'm going to enter this challenge with yesterdays fit.

Back to work today after having been moving with all my family from Paris to Lyon . New life

My clothes are a little bit creased but I could find an OCBD !

Casual Friday - went out to the pub for lunch with Mrs K. Unusually I wore a BD from an English maker, Hawes and Curtis.

Vacation.

Tobacco linen shorts by J Crew.
Airy cotton BD by Berg&Berg.
Cordovan loafers.

Interesting thing about this shirt - it started life as a Canali semi-spread. There were no collar stays and no little sewn pockets to put them in. As a result, the collar kept curling up annoyingly, always on the same side.

So I had my tailor convert it into a button-down. Must be one of the only poplin butcher-stripe BDs in existence.
