Yes I have. As it is a rather disappointing experience, I tend not to share about it. It's hard to judge a tailor on one commission but it didn't make me want to commission another one admittedly.

However, no. It does not. The outcome is far from what I had imagined and I had to alter the coat quite a bit to have a decent back. The front was good though.

Well, you don't need to spend anywhere close to $10000 at Cifonelli (you're a lot closer to two suits than one for that amount). I'd start by making a stylistic choice. Bespoke makers at that level have a pretty distinctive look to their suits. Whose look do you like and want to wear?

As agjiffy has said, a lot depends on your taste. All of the big French tailors have something inherently unique to them. I love Cifonelli, and would personally go that route, but I can see why others would choose another tailor.
