My shirts from Mary that I ordered in the summer finally arrived. Apparently she has left Paris but to me her shirt style is very French, particularly the shirt sleeve, cuff and tail

Yes. But I'm trying to pre-empt the possible question of "Can an Italian making a shirt in Italy be French?" Particularly given the whole "Is Eidos Italian" episode.

^The answer to that question is a resounding "yes", says everyone who has ever used Cifonelli.

Hey guys.

I've been following this thread for a bit now, on and off, and I was wondering...if you had 10000 USD to drop on a suit, what bespoke tailor would you go see? 2 piece. I am somewhat partial to Cifonelli, but would like to hear more recent opinions?

Well, you don't need to spend anywhere close to $10000 at Cifonelli (you're a lot closer to two suits than one for that amount). I'd start by making a stylistic choice. Bespoke makers at that level have a pretty distinctive look to their suits. Whose look do you like and want to wear?

As agjiffy has said, a lot depends on your taste. All of the big French tailors have something inherently unique to them. I love Cifonelli, and would personally go that route, but I can see why others would choose another tailor.
