I voted no. I would say it is definitely the funniest American sitcom but The UK version of The Office reigns supreme over all other comedy shows ever made, Ipso Facto.

That goes without saying. But the UK-version of The Office is no sitcom. Not in the original sense. I'd call it a mockumentary. The American "The Office" is a sitcom and not up to par of even Seinfeld. Even!

Has anyone mentioned "Taxi" yet? If not, I'll say that it was a damn hilarious show.

I think you would be surprised by how many people on here can name every character from Wings. Roy was more annoying that Lowell, I hated that fat bastard. Anyway, Frasier sucks and lives in an impossible apartment in an impossible building, Wings sucks... most of the shows you all appear to like watching suck.

I voted no, because .. My parents enjoyed it and that to me meant it wasn't worth watching.

Oh yeah, I forgot about this. If you're from Seattle, you have to hate Frasier because it wasn't filmed here, misrepresents the city, and there's no possible way Frasier's apartment could exist unless it was hanging from a helicopter. Even so, if I happen to see it on, I sometimes watch for a bit and accidentally laugh. But mostly I don't find the characters likeable. If I knew a person like Frasier in real life, I would avoid the hell out of him.

How do you mean?

+1. He makes Manton seem like Billy Dee Williams.

Can't believe no one here has mentioned Mr. Belvedere.

The picture taken for Frasier's view was taken from a park (Kerry Park) and is scaled such that the viewer would have to be much closer than Kerry Park is from downtown. Therefore to get that view one would have to construct a building way out in space.
