i'm not warming up to any of ferrari's new designs. they do seem to lack a certain subtlety these days...

mother of god, that's a lot of ferraris

wonder if that guy will be my friend

google results list him only as a "prominent historical ferrari collector"

some people collect stamps. wonder what kind of day job you'd need to collect historical ferraris

I think that job is called being a billionaire. I tried it once, but didn't like it so much.

i worked on a house once for a guy who collected rolls royce phantoms. he needed a place to keep them, and a place to stay while he showed them at the concours d'elegance in monterey. also a billionaire. i don't know what life is like for people like that. they're on a different planet.

Same planet ... different world.

In the garage thread - wherever it is - I mentioned having the original Ferrari tiles that Enzo comissioned for the factory, and how, eventually, I'm going to incorporate it into a dream showcase garage. Well, this (not mine) sort of gives the idea (though my design is going to depart drastically from this) - notice the yellow tiles in the floor? Those are they.

Nice. The car closest to the camera, is that a 288 GTO? Plus I don't see a GTO Evoluzione there - serious omission IMHO

Yes, a 288 GTO. And the 250TR is not original.
