I also like Alaskan Amber, but I've only been able to get it when I am in Seattle.

Fosters.
No... seriously? If so, you are the first person I have ever encountered who drinks it voluntarily.
Because it's so well marketed and packaged, we in the U.S. think it is awesome. But Australians have told me other wise.
yeah, practically no sales in australia outside of major events that they sponsor

I've actually gotten REALLY tired of wine recently, and find beer much better match for 90% of foods, especially cheese.

I like

Duvel
Ommegang (now owned by Duvel)
Schneider Aventinus
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Double Bastard
Samuel Smith Oatmeal stout
Paulaner Salvator
Franziskaner Hefe
Fin du Monde

I can't drink Guinness any more. I used to like to order it in college because all the frat boys always said something dumb like "a meal in a glass" but now it seriously tastes watery to me. It tastes like a decent stout which has been cut with about 30% water.

I'm usually a Guiness drinker, but I also like Spaten from time to time. However, finding either of those at bars in redneck country can be difficult at best.

Let's see, from the last haul:

Brooklyn Monster Ale (Winter05/06)
Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout
Aventinus Eisbock
Stone Ruination IPA
Thomas Hardy's ale
Weyerbacher Insanity
Hair of the dog Fred
various Belgian Tripels and Quadrupels

I also like Stone Doublebastard when I can find it.

I really think Washington is the best place I have ever been to buy beer. New England has great stuff, but I was shocked by all the great beers on the west coast.

Fat Tire out of New Amsterdam, CO. Great beer, especially after a long day on the slopes.
