Fake Zegna Overcoat

I recent purchased a used Zegna cashmere overcoat. It seems quite nice and not used much; the pockets are still sewn shut. However, compared to an old Paul STUART wool overcoat, the fabric is lighter weight (2 lbs, 11 oz), and the Zegna logo seems off a bit - the “E” doesn’t have the horizontal lines extending to the left, there’s a white outline around the name, and the logo seems machine stitched not hand stitched. I’m also wondering about the “pure cashmere” label and the interior pocket sizing and model label.

Can anyone tell me if this overcoat is real or a fake?

The coat being lighter in weight than another coat is not necessarily a reflection of its authenticity.

It’s an old label. At least 15-20 years but maybe more. Whether it’s fake or not I have no idea. If the price is right, who cares.

The inner tags look correct. I do not think it is a fake.
