Thank you sir.  I figured as much, especially when I found another one there, with the same labels.  Didn't feel right.
Glad I left them.

You are welcome.

It's a label re-stitch with a legitimate label rather than a jacket made expressly as a fake Canali though, right? Looks like a real (though older K line) tag to me from here.

Not certain about the label. The label stitches are off. Canali's label stitching is rather unique. Instead of using the common zigzag stitches, they are all straight parallel.

The real give away is the inner tag.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum and wondered if you guys can help me authenticate this Tom Ford shirt I bought as a gift from a UK consignment site?

I'd really appreciate some help with authentication :) Apologies, there are many images, but I wanted to make sure and cover all areas needed for authentication.

Many thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum. It looks to be of good quality and the tags match the shirt authenticated just a few posts ago so I would think it is real. Nice shirt

Hi,

Relatively new to the forums and was wondering if someone could help with a recently purchased William Fioravanti suit. Unfortunately it does not have a bespoke tag stating the person it was made for.

I was under the impression that bespoke Fioravanti suits were fully handmade but some of the stitching below, around the bottom of the jacket, looks like it was done by a machine. In addition, the lapels have no pick stitching. Despite this, the buttonholes look handmade (I may be wrong), the sleeve buttons work, there is puckering underneath the lapel and a wrap around of the collar, and the suit seems to be fully canvassed.

I was hoping someone would be able to tell if the suit was in fact a bespoke Fioravanti suit or whether is was some type of lower line Fioravanti or knock-off.

Thanks

Not an expert, but Fioravanti does both bespoke and RTW. I've never owned one of either, so I can't tell what's going on here. Is there a content tag? If there is, it might help identify the maker- makers like Zegna, Canali, etc. have distinct fonts and layouts for their content tags. Regardless of whether it's bespoke or RTW, it appears to be a nice suit.

The details look consistent with all the B. Brit pieces I've seen.

I'm going to have to disagree with you in this one, the collar tags look terrible
Yeah, B. Brit has crappy quality. At least that's consistent.
