Everlane Weekender -- anyone had the bag for a while who can comment on durability?

Seen a fair amount of hype for this bag but haven't seen a style forum thread devoted to it yet. Has anyone purchased this bag and had it for a bit (say more than a few months or a few uses) so that they can comment in an informed way on the durability/quality? I have seen lots of blogs recommending it but no one doing a six-month-in or one-year-in review yet.

The straps are apparently very flimsy and rather long.

No surprise, really.

This should go in the everlane thread: http://www.styleforum.net/t/285166/everlane-t-shirts/0_50

I have no idea what this guy is talking about. The straps are fine. Long enough to go over your shoulder, short enough to carry without dragging. The weight of the straps is appropriate for the form of the bag (floppy). I have zero concerns about the durability of the canvas and it is lined. It is a nice inexpensive lightweight medium-sized bag.

I've had it for about a year. Durability seems good, but it's a real pain lugging it around in an airport without a true shoulder strap. If you plan to fly a lot with the bag I'd go with something else that is going to be more comfortable to use.

How important is full vs half canvas to you for heavier sport jackets?
