....and I just added two more Somelos to the collection in an effort to make up for the emotional loss of getting in too late on the tobacco khaki tweed corduroys :(

Just ordered a white Somelos..Looking forward to seeing what the hub bub is all about.

Also, after a soak/wash of the Camo Field jacket in a cauldron of various "chemicals" to soften it up(not even close yet), I really like this jacket.

I thought that Camo might look a little campy but this looks awesome. It is a tank of a jacket but it fits great!

It will need to get a lot colder down here to rock it, but I shall.

Thanks Mike.

Let me know if anyone wants to trade a Medium Camo Jacket for a Small. Thank you.

@badsha did you wash it already? It will definitely shrink up quite a bit

@Epaulet

Do you know yet what will be coming in terms of outerwear for fall? Any Doyle restocks? You also mentioned a new Teba-like piece you were working on a while back - is that still happening?

@Duke Silver

We're getting the band back together! The Doyle is going through a brand new factory here in Los Angeles, and should be re-released for Fall. Right now I'm planning to do it in both Duck Canvas and Moleskin, which retails of $185 and $195 - $215 respectively.

We've got some sportcoats and outerwear en-route from Luigi Bianchi

We made an awesome limited-edition US-Made snorkel parka with our good friends at American Trench

And we'll have a restock of the Suede Blouson and our new suede MA-1 jacket

Oh, and we're working on a wool shirt jacket concept with triple patch pockets from Southwick

In terms of the Teba... I'm honestly on the fence. Here's the thing. I like the Teba a lot. I think it sells for a place like the Armoury because it's relatively inexpensive compared to everything else.

I can probably do a Tweed Vittorio in Portugal at $650 which would be amazing and come in about $45 under the Teba. I think that our customers would probably prefer the versatility of a soft sportcoat - something that they can totally dress up if need be - over the Teba which is casual by design. In order to do a Teba well, I'd have to do it at our suiting factory, and the price is basically the same for either that or a Vittorio.

That said, I'm hoping that the Southwick wool shirt jacket will give off a little bit of a Teba vibe. And that might be something that could go out a bit North of $200, which would make it more sensible as an elegant casual piece

Great news. What colors are you planning? There's a brown Vetra jacket that I've been eyeing as I've been looking for something in the vein, but I'd definitely prefer a Doyle if there's going to be something in a similar tone.

Interested to see the snorkel parka from American Trench. I like the work I have seen from American Trench so far so I have high expectations.

I hear your reasoning on the Teba and it is sound. You should bag the Teba, which is a type of jacket I don't like anyway. I have tried on the Teba at the Armoury (and elsewhere) and I found it to be a shapeless, unattractive jacket. I would rather wear a soft sportcoat, coverall, or shirt jacket instead of a Teba.
