Also Mike, re: the Couro Cromos, if I'm 7.5d Barrie and 9(with a tad too much room) in Vans, what size would you suggest? And like your many fans I too appreciate the transparency and class you've displayed here dealing with this disappointment..

Thanks again! I'd say a size 8.5 to be safe here. Most guys would go up at least a half size from Barrie, and our overall last is IMO better fitting than Vans classic.

Loving the new sneakers!

Also, just my humble opinion, but if you're going with shell that has such depth, I think a white sole would look MUCH better than gumlite. The contrast would make the cordovan pop.

I've got new stuff on deck coming this week and throughout Jan. Look out for:

EPLA Crewneck Raglan sweatshirts
The long, long-awaited Cone Mills 14oz and Distressed Wilshires
The Epaulet x Individualized shirt MTO system
The Epaulet x Southwick full MTO suiting system
Ends for Our Friends Part Deux
Gitman Bros Factory Finds
(Hopefully) Southwick Jackets Factory Finds
New Alden Preorders
Soooooo.... I will be standing in a bread line by February? Cool. Nice to be able to plan ahead.

The Epaulet x Southwick full MTO suiting system

Lotta great stuff! I've been REALLY looking forward to the suit program. It can't come soon enough … I'm soooo ready!! Will there be some seasonal fabrics? Hoping for a cream linen, light/pale gray hopsack or nailhead … among others :)

I also hope double and single breasted SC's will make it into the MTO program.

I don't have any skin in the game, but I personally think that the new chrome leather is a better option for those particular shoes.

I agree - ironically they look more "lux" to me; the shell's plastic-y appearance doesn't work as well as the matted cowhide that will undoubtedly patina well. The saddle color is killer.

I think those comipel hides should go for goodyear welted shoes (didn't EP hint at an in-house shoemaking project?).

Thanks again guys, I really, really appreciate the encouraging words! Looks like about half of the guys are going with one of the Couro Cromo variants, so we'll be able to get some great shoes into a lot of hands regardless.

For everything else, I know that we've had a product launch blackout with the holidays. I've got new stuff on deck coming this week and throughout Jan. Look out for:

I am so happy for this! But my wallet is about to cry. LOL.

Hi Mike, would you offer full canvas option for suits?

I'm letting go of my most recent factory finds in size 34, it's the "Midweight Lambswools - Midweight Rusty Small Tattersall" as it was a little small for me. Just wanted to mention it here before I listed in.

Looking forward to the next round to correct that mistake.

Edit: to clarify these are jackets, not trousers.

Is sizing for cuomo similar to the original Shell pre-order? I'm thinking of getting the mocha but not sure what size to get. I'm a 9.5E uk in Carmina rain last and 10.5 in Alden Barrie. Maybe someone could weigh in?

Just want to give Kudos to Epaulet and Mike regarding the Shell Sneakers issue.

I had a preorder on the the burgundy and now is struggling to see if a Loden sneakers would have a place for my shoe rotation (v small rotation)

Anyway, the one thing that stood out to me is that Mike took the effort and cost to fly to Portugal to check out the factory, material, actual construction line. Alot of times, retailers do not make that effort, even big names might just place orders and not do a QC on the actual factory.

I stay in China, and I can safely say most of the time the factories operate on a COST PLUS (profits) manner. There are alot of times when unscrupulous agents or purchasers that specify lower quality material or construction to earn more profits and when complain comes in, pushes the blame to the factory. The fact that Mike highlighted that the factory is blameless shows the integrity that he have and therefore projected via Epaulet.

Meanwhile I am eagerly waiting for my Chambray shirts and FF Rivet to reach me = )

Cheers
