Got some photos to show from our first day at Rochester Tailored Clothing! We spent all of today meeting the staff, shooting videos of production, and going through our new samples. It was absolutely amazing to see this place in person. It's the oldest suiting factory in the United States, and they've really married together a lot of classic artisanal techniques with new technology. We'll have a ton of content, but here's a few early pic...

Ming is hunting through all of the fabrics for our very first "Factory Finds" promo with RTC!

And this is absolutely GONZO.
We had a lot of requests for custom dyed Sashiko garments. It's difficult to do as we'd need to sew a single piece and then dye it individually.. which is prohibitively expensive. But we created a workaround. Turns out that I can pretty easily dye a 5-yard piece of Sashiko fabric and then send it to RTC to create a custom sportcoat, trouser, Doyle, Field Jacket, or Sinclair. The pics before you represent the very first dyed Sashiko half-canvas sportcoat that we've ever done. Perhaps the very first in the world! Everyone at the factory is jazzed about how it's coming out. Here's some pics.... and we should have the finished suit in hand by the end of the month.

It’s pretty amazing what they can do at RTC. Every operator is so skilled at what they do. I’m excited for all the projects we have coming soon!

Thanks so much guys, we're so excited to expand our offerings with RTC for Fall! We started laying the groundwork for all sorts of new projects, and it's really a privilege to work with such an experienced and skilled team. They'll be lots more info to come.

And yeah, the Factory Finds is going to be gonzo. We're going to do it in tiers...
1) First we'll offer fabrics as Suits & Sportcoats
2) Next we'll offer fabrics as Doyle's and Field Jackets
3) Whatever isn't claimed from those shapes, we'll offer as Trousers.

Got about 45 fabrics in all, including some really choice fabrics from the usual premium mills (Loro Piana, Di Pray, Delfino, Zegna, etc).

I think we'll realistically be able to launch this on Thursday of next week.

With regards to the Sashiko Suiting, I'm trying to work out the timing for that. Technically, we could take orders for that right now. But I do want to get the sample in and shoot the entire two piece look for you guys, and that probably won't be until the end of next week. More info to come on that shortly, but I think that we can offer three colors and a whole bunch of rad customization options.

Hertling trousers received!

Got about 15 pairs of Taylor trousers today... this is the single pleat, high waisted shape. Shipped all of the domestic pieces out already! We have another 40 pairs in-bound for the end of next week. Here's some pics...
