Random question - any updates on the Asbury denim jackets? I think I saw Mike mention/instagram post about them a little while ago? Been tempted by some I've seen, but really like the EP one from the past...

Wow, those jeans are in amazing condition after that amount of wear. Please post info about them. Are they sewn by epaulet? What model? What is the denim make, model, weight? Were they raw when you bought them?

All the info you need to know is here:

2x mfg defects, top fly button came off and the chainstitch waistband unraveled early on.

As far as I know these will never be produced again. Certainly not at the $145 price ;)

Raw, bought 2 pairs. 2nd pair has about half as much wear. Here's a few more shots, including the only hole in the jean. You can see how the crotch is in 100% pristine condition. My brother must have a model body for denim.. (It's about having skinny thighs ;) )

These look amazing! Thanks for posting up the pic. The lack of a worn-thru crotch is kind of amazing too. Thigh gaps can help!

This was our old Smith jean from, probably, 2010 or 2011. If they're cone mills, it would have been the basic 14oz red line selvedge.

We changed to a new factory last year and tweaked the shape to create the "Wilshire" - which we sell now. The fit is corrected and tends to work better for more guys, and the new production is better overall (consistent sizing, no popped buttons). We still have them at $150.

We have the new rounded collar jacket in work right now. Scheduled to come around end of May. Not an ideal delivery for me, as I'd rather have them now, but them's the breaks in our industry.

I believe he said $100 deposit for pre-order, and then a balance of $175 before shipping.

Yup, the total price will be $275, broken into a $110 deposit, $165 balance.

Mike, you had posted a while back about a successor to the Smith jean (not the indigo ones). I have a couple of the last few Smiths before you discontinued them, one in gunmetal and one in caramel duck canvas. The Wilshire fit is definitely better so some Wilshires in canvas would be well received.

Thanks. My brother ( the wearer ) and I will be up to your shop in May. We're visiting NYC to hit up all the clothing stores on SuFu and sf.net.. hah

These were actually purchased as an xmas prsent in Dec '09 right when you announced them.

Really really been interested in some of your shirting and custom shoes. I'll see how much of a budget I can get together for the trip ;)

Can you detail how the wilshire fit, other than 'better' ? What's different.. They seem slimmer but what else?

I like mint, derby, ecru, and forest.

I know I am definitely getting mint the way it's shown on the page. Now should I get derby, ecru, or forest? I definitely can't get all 3. Leaning towards derby and ecru, and crossing my finger that I can pick up the forest in 2016. Damn can't believed how much I love these sweaters that I am thinking about getting them next year already....

EFF Walts came a day early!!!

Congrats! Gotta love that feeling when you're excitedly tracking something to land tomorrow and, lo and behold, the shipping gods drop it today.
