Yes, with the Champions League games thrown in to the mix it is difficult to predict which of the high scoring stars will actually play the double games. On top of that there seem to be a lot of niggly injuries about, real or feigned and the MU-MC derby messes things up too.

I think you are right and there will be some dramatic moves, I am not very confident myself.

I'm out. I forgot to make the transfers. I see some others that may be in the same boat.

In my notes, I had:

GW 27
Foster
Clichy, Huth, Enrique
Fabregas, VDV, Nolan, Etherington, Adam
Van Persie Â

, Campbell
Hart, Odemwingie, Skrtel, Bardsley

GW 28
Hart
Huth, Enrique, Skrtel, Bardsley
Nolan, Etherington, Adam
Tevez Â

, Campbell, Odemwingie
Foster, Clichy, Fabregas, VDV

I guess Van Persie could have been rested and it wouldn't have stung as much, but reading the results today has been brutal. It's disappointing to go out like this after 27 weeks of football.

Sorry to hear, Sesame. I don't think you are "out" by any means, there are still room for plenty of surprises and upsets before the season is over. This was however one week when an active transfer policy could pay off handsomely so a shame you didn't get something done!

I was hesitating between v Persie and Fabregas until the last minute but luckily went with v Persie just like culverwood did. Next round will be tough for me since I have 3 Arsenal players, 3 Bimingham players and 1 Tottenham player in my lineup, so 7 players who will not be playing...and wild card has been spent. Maybe culverwood has taken a more balanced approach?

Van Persie seems to have woken up this year. 10 goals in 7 games.

I had used up my wild card already so there was no possibility of big changes for me.. My stupidity was transferring Djourou for Carr thinking he was really injured so I was stuck with VdV and Bale which my heart says is good but my head says is bad. Still Carr has had a good week so far.

There's a long way to go this week and seeing how you've stacked your team I think you will draw further ahead by the end of it Doc.

I guess Ashley Cole just put you back in the top but I agree that I should have a good chance to get ahead of you by 10 points or so before this round is over. Depends on Fabregas, Birmingham and Blackpool really.

The importance of these rounds with some teams appearing twice is colossal - may decide the eventual outcome of the whole thingy. I am already busy worrying about how to handle next round and will take a few days off from work to be able to concentrate better.

I'm hoping Brunt and Odemwingie will do a bit more in their 2nd game. Benching Nani over Tevez wasn't a good move for me...

I first had Nani benched for Evatt (Blackpool defender) but changed my mind. Phew.

I see you also picked the right captain this round! And with a couple of Brum defenders and those West Brom boys you should be adding more than a few points too.

Tottenham lighting up the Champions League, are you kidding me?

Not much joy from my 3 Brummies, I only got 4 points in total from 3 players last night.

Yes my two Tottenham players have placed me 762 out of 250,000 in the knock out phase, no doubt by the end of the round I will be in the mid 10,000s but its nice to be near the top for a day.

If only I'd played Simpson not Kelly.

4 point haul better than no haul. I do enjoy the glory at the top but worry daily about round 28.

Adam 8 and Campell 9 for a total of 17 points from my Blackpool players yesterday. Nice! And still the Arsenal game to come - hopefully with a big score. Am at 109 points for the round so far.

Van Persie, Walcott and Fabregas, all my 3 Arsenal players injured. But I guess I shouldn't complain.
