You should't but it happens. I'm trying to get a duty reverse on a pair of Yuketens I ordered that were shipped from the UK. I got hit with a charge of 95.00 from DHL.

2 things I always try to do when buying eg from abroad:
- never use ups/fedex/dhl if posssible
- always have sender label goods as made in the usa on customs form

Thanks for the heads up.

Not sure if I can avoid the first. I just sent a message regarding the second.

Thank you both!

iirc you shouldn't get hit with duties on eg items as they're made in the us.

True - Even if you use Fedex, UPS, etc. you will likely get a bill unless you make Europe dealers aware to mark that products are made in the US. If you get hit with a bill though, a simple call should clear things up as well (It did for me several times).

EDIT: Didn't see CSA already gave the same recommendation. We've all been there ...

Thanks for all the feedback. I'll give a shot at the medium

@kwonster I have some other Golden Bear stuff (not EG collabs) and it all fits TTS despite the apparently large measurements. That pic from Rooney is strange; doesn't fit the model in the shoulders, though the length is right. My guess is that he's 6'1 wearing a M for the length, but it's too large on him because he only weighs 150-155lbs.

No that guy is around 6'4 maybe more. He works at the Topshop in downtown Montreal...ran into him a few months ago and recognized him from the Rooney website heh. Anyways clothes always seem to fit him awkwardly (sleeves always too short).
I picked up the small from Rooney shop a little while ago and can say that the piece is awesome and fits TTS. I'm a small in just about all tops/shirts/knits (especially EG) and the small was the right fit. Hits just below the belt so it isn't in that weird short cropped length that rides on the top of your belt everytime you raise your arms like older season Ervell bombers for instance. It's a warm piece for what it is, I like that colorway a lot.

the xl was huge on me and my chest is 49 and my arms are 21.5

was also going to get this from gravitypope but got cartjacked:

Just got word back from the people at Kafka that the package was marked as "Goods Made in U.S.A." So hopefully I'll be able to avoid duties.

I've ordered from Kafka before, and they were great. So I wouldn't worry too much, especially if they marked it.

I've found their shipping to be fantastic for $20. My last order from Inventory arrived DHL next day (I placed the order at ~4PM our time). Previous orders were 1-2 days also.

Most recently picked up the Workaday Utility jacket in navy bedford cord. Love it! It seems to sell out in XL so I jumped on it a few weeks ago.

Ordered mine on 12/25 and it didn't ship until 12/30...Im not surprised it didn't ship 12/26 or 12/27 but would have expected it go out on Monday, 12/29. Kinda bummed as now it will likely deliver after I head out of town today. Was hoping to bring it with me. Oh well...

@Nakedsnake – Kafka's customer service is irrelevant aside from marking the package that the goods were made in the US. DHL/FedEx/UPS are the ones who (improperly) levy the duty.

Yes, I kind of realized that after I made the comment. Foolish me. That said, I didn't ask them to mark it as USA made goods, but they did anyways (as they should, since they are.) And ya I normally hate everyone except USPS. I'm Canadian after all.

not totally sold on the way it looks from the front, but i'm guessing the camera angle isn't helping there. will also probably drape better once it breaks in. either way, gorgeous piece!

As promised here are pics of the corduroy suit.

I realize that the skirt flare in the jacket isn't very flattering, but my arm is raised to take the pic and I think the second pic is more representative of how the jacket fits about the waist.

Not sure what I think about it yet. The pants and the jacket don't actually match, though they are very close. Not sure if this is one of the quirky things about EG that I should just embrace and roll with, or if it will bug me until I get rid of it and move on.

Does anyone have the french terry crewneck sweatshirt with suede elbow patches? Does it fit TTS? Thanks
