From the EG pin-up catalogue, it looks like it's similar to the C&J Weymouth. Is there anyone who owns or knows about both the shoes give some comments? Thank you.

The Weymouth doesn't come in olive calf.

Seriously though, I've been somewhat curious about this myself. The choice of last, leather, and widths put the Newbury ahead of the Weymouth, but the Weymouths cost half as much. Have you tried anything on the 337 last? Which last were you thinking of for the Newbury? RJman has a beautiful pair of plain-toe Newburys. Only pair I've seen on these forums, though several people seem to have the Weymouth.

I like mine:

Don't have any Weymouths to compare though.

I have checked out the Newbury vs. the Weymouth. I own neither, but I hope to own a pair of one of them in the future. I like the Newbury better. Depending on the last you choose (special order, that is), the Newbury appears (IMO) to be more elegant and refined. That is to take nothing away from the Weymouth, which is a beautiful shoe. The Weymouth is a lot less expensive than the Newbury so it is really your decision whether the extra cost is worth it.

Mine will be in F606. I am almost sure I'll like it (I have not yet regretted any of the EG purchases I have made)
