Tony sent me a picture of the Dovers he was selling for $570. Its on the 202 and pretty sure it's called Country Grain in dark brown. Wish it was on 606, but not big enough of a deal to pass up

Well done!! They are great.
Galway on 72, HAF sole, Mahogany pin grain the 72 last on the HAF sole ended up being more streamlined than on other galways I have on 72 and rubber soles. Not sure if the leather sole has something to do with it Tried to get the details on the leather the best I could with a cell phone pic

Salt in the wound post lol, I guess the wrong size was put aside for me, misplaced, or he was mistaken on my size altogether. I think he mentioned getting like 40 emails so I can understand some confusion.

So if anyone scored a UK7.5 and they don't work out please let me know, I was pretty bummed when I got the news today.

That sucks man. He told me he received about 40 emails as well. Funny thing is that all these Dover were just sitting in the stockroom and they marked them down like 30% off then 40%, etc. Nobody wanted them. Eventually he said they got desperate to get rid of them. He said they need to get rid of them because Saks is not going to carry the Dover anymore.
