Speaking of Suede shoes and a dust. I bought myself a Saphir suede brush long time ago, but I found after couple of brushing that the suede is now a bit fluffy and not even like when they were new? Did this rough brush messed the suede? Should I be using the rubber brush instead? This is the one I have:
I use hanger project suede brush that you can buy & so far no problem it's cost about 35$ & has been wonderful.

I bought a $5 nylon bristle suede brush and eraser from CVS and it also has been wonderful ;)

I use a horsehair dauber brush to brush suede before and after wear. I only use the nylon bristled brush when there's a scuff or stain or something like that.

Nice grab Luc...Most certainly one of my all time favorite "go to" boots... and one of the most complimented pairs of shoes/boots in my collection...as my brother's father in-law put it..."those things look like you pay by the inch"...lol...Enjoy

I would love to recommend anyone who wants to deal directly with the EG shop in London to buy from them without any hesitation, their customer service is excellent.

I am really pleased with the way they handled a recent issue I had, great service makes customers feel that they care about developing a long-term relationship which means more than just making a sale. Keep up the good work Robert and thank you to your full team.

+1. I have been ordering shoes (MTO and RTW) from Robert for 4 years approximately and his service is definitely above par: I too feel that he is not in for making the sale but that he genuinely cares about his customers. He is always very patient answering questions and gives good advice. There was this time when he had not been able to inspect a pair of MTO shoes I had ordered from him before they were sent to me, and there had been a mistake on the color. I sent him an email to report the issue. He took my word for it, did not ask a single question and sent the carrier at my door the next day to take the shoes back. And a few months later, I received the shoes in the right color.

I have no personal experience with single MTOs to be honest. But it sure does sound like they will do it if you read this page:

http://www.upper-shoes.com/fr/content/60-teinture-et-personnalisation

If nothing changed upper-shoes actually does single MTO. At least, their Paris store used to do single MTO. Also note that, Xavier, upper-shoes Paris store's manager used to work for EG. He knows the house well and he might be a good person to talk to for an EG MTO.
