There are some fantastic deals on ebay right now for HH Brown Congo boots. I personally bought 3 pair as these were the alternative to the Timberland handsewn goretex chukka of my high school years. I've worn one pair for the past 3 years and they have held up great. The goretex version went for like $160 and I bought mine with the 3M Thinsulate technology for $60 then $50 then $40 brand new in the box.
