Double Vent Fit Question

Hi all. I recently had a double vented suit shortened slightly. It seems like the shape is just a bit off now. The side of the suit kind of sticks out slightly so it looks like the suit is longer in the back. If I pull the side back behind my butt however it aligns with the back of the suit as it should. Wondering what is causing this. Check the pics and let me know your thoughts.

Need to let the waist out. I’m going to guess that the jacket is too small in general.
