Hi,

Sorry for such a specific post, but I was interested in whether or not anyone knew of a good tailor in New Orleans. I did a search for this topic, but both posts were before the storm (2004 and May 2005). I am interested in getting suit sleeves altered, jacket waist taken in, and the backs of dress shirts taken in.

Thanks for your time!

Bump,

Also looking for a good tailor in the New Orleans area. Feedback on any of the independent tailors there would be great also.

Thanks in advance!

You might ask a good men's store like Perlis whom they use.

There's a small menswear store in the Garden district, I think, that once recommended a two tailors to me. I didn't use them however. Didn't have time. The store that recommended them to me sold Alden shoes. Sorry I can't remember their name.

Sounds like good advice. I wasn't sure if Perlis had their own in-house, like Rubensteins. Anyhow, I'll check around and post here if I find anyone worth mentioning.

Thanks for the response.
