For me, a polo is like a t-shirt with a collar on it, making it more formal to a small degree. So for me this is a question of do I like to wear t-shirts stacked one on top of the other? No, unless I'm layering up for winter.

Anyone that wears a polo shirt as a non-casual item should be shot. I don't see a problem with wearing a tee under a polo shirt, then, because I wear polos to take out the trash and tend to my goat farm.

A guy in my office wears a t under his polos. I want to pull him aside and tell him how dolty he looks, but I've decided I'll just continue to have a quiet little laugh every day this summer. He wears little loafers with his suits, too.

I equate the t-under-the-polo thing with the short-sleeve dress shirt and tie sans jacket. Too Milton-ish.

For me, its just a step above wearing a t-shirt over a henley. I vote no.

I don't have any choice. It's either that or show the nasty acne scars on my chest. Oh puberty, why do you continue to haunt me?

I wear standard black or white, no graphic tees under mine. Im a pretty thin guy though, so it helps to even me out in the scope of things, and it works on me.

I would much rather see a white t-shirt under a polo shirt than a freaking birds' nest of hair glistening on a hot day, or big wet spots under the pits.

I'm a big (not fat) sweaty and hairy guy. I can't imagine not wearing an undershirt under either polo or dress shirts.
I may be a newbie here, and you guys may have convinced me that my Kenneth Coles suck, but on this point I shall remain firm.
