I carry a fold-up shoehorn that I got for Christmas. Indispensable when going through security checkpoints...

I have one that is very similar; I got it out of a christmas cracker

Is this really a serious question?? I mean, I admit that I have over 20 pairs of shoes, but I'm not that freakin anal to carry around a shoe horn. Carry a knife if you want to carry something.

Yup, carry a shoehorn in my carry on for going through airport security. Have a second with my 2nd pair of shoes in my garment bag too.

I also keep a shoehorn in my briefcase. I also travel by air every week, and I like to remove my shoes on longer flights. It's difficult to put shoes on in an airplane seat without a horn. I wish the flight attendants would provide this service in First Class, along with taking my coat :)

It's in my carry-on, so no worries.

Chelsea boots Foof! Much more versatile. And we would all love to see the OneChelseaBoot

I'm somewhat surprised nobody has mentioned a folded piece of paper; magazine pages or something with a slightly glossy feel works best.

I found the hotel room service menu worked well when I discovered that I had forgotten a shoe horn.

When I travel I have one in my suitcase. When I am going to work, I use my finger!

I thought there would be comedy in this thread, only to see that I'm a minority. I've never even once thought to myself "need a shoe horn in my pocket"... I dont even have a shoe horn.

What am I missing here? I dont have any problem getting any of my shoes on. And I have about 40 pairs of shoes. And they fit.

If you do not need a shoe horn to get into your shoe, it means they fit badly.
