Looking for advice in pairing Clarks desert chukka boots with jeans. Is this a great combination ? Also a belt that is similar in color to complete the look. The belt doesnt have to be identical color to the boot correct?

This has been a good combination for me. I'm wearing redwing chukka in brown leather. So a med to dark brown is IMO best. Then a similar shade belt. Pair with OCBD or a merino sweater this winter.
If possible, steer away from the lighter brown versions of clarks.

Pair suede with suede or pebble with pebble or flat with flat leather in your boots / belt, where possible. Also match general shade if possible. When you get obsessive, you can turn to matching your watch bands as well.
