I heard from Lauren the next day. I guess she received my shoes from the factory a day later than some of you guys.

Anyway, I got my PTBs today and they are glorious. I am very happy with how this GMTO came out.

A bit confused...I thought the Dainite sole option was the one close to fruition, or has the number required for an order to go through decreased? (Spreadsheet shows 10 signed up for Dainite and only 6 signed up so far for the double leather sole option).

I just heard from C&J that the whiskey Lindricks from the GMTO last December that I organized are in, and they will ship out the Tuesday after Easter.

I hope the whiskey Galway 2's are not far behind. Organized and finalized also early Dec.

If I'm not mistaken, the Whiskey Lindrick was finalized/paid for in early November, so his timeline may be a bit off.

Either way, I'm also waiting for the Whiskey Galway 2 boots, so I'm hoping they come sooner than expected!

Sorry for any confusion. A new person PMed me yesterday indicating his interest in the GMTO and asking how to join. I see that as of this post has not yet put his name on the spreadsheet. He didn't specify his sole preference but assuming he signs up for the Dainite soles and assuming all other persons on the Dainite list are still in then we need only one more person to reach 12.

I think you're going to have a hard time finding 12 people to sign up for an F fitting GMTO. If you don't mind spending a little bit extra, I'd just do a single MTO. You're going to save yourself a lot of time.

The requirement is still 12, there just a strong divide between the two camps. I'm in on the Dainite version. Only need 2 more.

Ugh, now I have to send my other Navy Dundee back to get fixed. Due to me, C&J is no longer affixing cordovan pull tabs with leather, but only fabric! Great customer service, just a PITA!

I'm also mocking up a EG Clifton rip-off based on C&J designs in Whiskey Cordovan. It'll be 50% the price quoted by Leffot for the EG version (if they even have Whiskey in stock). I still lean for the real thing though.
