What i found interesting was how when Jesse was handcuffed and Walt walked into the lab, Walt dropped his gun and the camera focused in on it. It seemed like they were saying, "this was Walt's opportunity to get rid of Jesse and tie up all loose ends" because we all know Jesse is going to find out that Walt poisoned Brock and all hell's going to break loose because of it.

I found this interesting also but I have a different take on it. Could the gun be the thing that eventually ties Walt to the lab after the DEA go over the lab with a fine tooth comb? Will they be able to lift prints from it after the conflagration?

Next season will most definitely pit hank versus walt. there will be other storylines, but that will be the main one. remember, hank was right. Fring died while visiting a known cartel player, plus the lab fire at the laundromat = the DEA will be all over this. And of course, Gus' office is filled with hours of footage of walt and jesse cooking.

Why would they record possible evidence of themselves committing various felonies? Gus is too meticulous to let that happen. Besides what is he going to do with the footage, use it in court when he presses charges against Jesse for stealing his meth?

He fails to be evil enough to stay on top, then everybody dies.

Turning "Hal to Scarface" doesn't mean he will become the lasting crime lord, ala Eastern Promises - it promises a rise to power then everyone dying.

I'm wondering if instead of a final Walt/Hank showdown it comes to a Walt/Jesse showdown, with Jesse learning all the things Walt's done (letting Jane die, poisoning the kid).
