US sizing, sorry. that's what worked for me. my feet are on the narrow side of E...i was lucky enough to be sized by Pierre himself and he put me into his size 10, while i wear somewhere between a JL 8.5 and 9E and an EG 9 to 9.5UK/9.5 to 10US. (depending on the last)
my guess is that if you have a legit E size foot (like, no D width would ever fit you), you may even need to go a full size up

More basic question: does Corthay sizing (a shoe stamped 7.5, for example) American or European/UK?
