I am the only one that enjoys the Bauhaus spin off as much as the original band?

OG Bauhaus is awesome. I never get sick of them. The original lineup was the best. After the breakup, Tones on Tail were pretty awesome too. Love & Rockets had some great stuff. Their solo projects are good, but not great.

I'm headed to see Sebadoh in Detroit tonight. Sure, they haven't put out a new album in over a decade, but I'm still looking forward to it. :slayer: (if only there was a way to make that emoticon rock more slowly and quietly)

The concert happens to be in the same facility as my bowling league and tonight is our league night. I'm usually down there pretty early and we need a sub on our team tonight... I wonder if I can hunt down Lou Barlow and get him to sit in for us? lol

Drove about 230 miles to see The National live. Was totally worth it. The National is the best live band I've seen. Local Natives opened for them and they were pretty decent, too.

It was just as great as ever. I saw a video where Trent Reznor sang "Bela Lugosi's Dead" with him, and it just sucked. There's just no substitute for Peter Murphy's voice.

3 concerts back to back? That's impressive. I ended up getting ticketed for doing 86 miles in a 75 zone on my way drive home but it was still worth seeing them live again (first time was when I was living in Australia). Have fun!

Bummed I missed them in SF last week. How is Matt Berninger's voice live?

Pretty good. It's just an awesome experience altogether. Matt goes to his little space/world when singing, doing little dances, wandering around, clutching the mic, kicking the air, etc. And Bryan Devendorf, the drummer, is spectacular live, too.
