Yes there is a monthly subscription. The level of insights I get is pretty outstanding - continuous heart rate tracking, resting heart rate assessment, HRV, respiratory rate, sleep quantity and quality, cardiovascular strain, recovery, skin temp, blood oxygen. It is very helpful to manage my workout intensity and monitor recovery.

It connects to your phone, as well as to all major fitness platforms (eg Strava). I use it as a heart rate monitor when on Zwift or ski touring (connecting it to my Suunto watch)

I hate subscriptions - really bothers me as a business model. I will admit, that thing looks nice, but I'm not sure I hate my Fitbit enough to sign on to endless fitness tracker sub.

I think a slightly higher rise and maybe a longer jacket could make this really sing.

Agree. To some of the above re your outfit @Polo Collar

I actually really like that you have big nice cuffs on your pants - I'm a fan in general of big cuffs. However, I think the positive effect of big cuffs is lost when you have a lower rise. High rise all the way.

My only other comment would be on the formality of the pants. Its a little hard to tell in the photo, but those trousers look like somewhat thick, casual fabric to me. Usually when I think of a navy blazer with brass buttons, I think of a crisper fabric. The jacket is very crisp (and I think approrpiate to the buttons), but to me the pants just seem a little too casual for the blazer.

would appreciate any comments/thoughts on this OTR fit.

Can’t see the trousers, unfortunately.

I like the jacket, particularly the lapels, shoulders, and sleevehead, as well as the shirt collar. There are two things I'm noticing that could use some improvement:

1) The tie knot looks huge, both really long and wide, at least for that collar. Was the tie tied with a double wrapped FIH? If so, maybe a single knot would work better. Or is it a really thick fabric and/or lining, maybe 7+ fold? Perhaps the collar points are a bit short.
2) The shirt sleeves look hidden under your jacket cuff. Typically, more shirt linen should show when one's arms are bent than when they're straight. The combo of longer shirt sleeves and snugger shirt cuff should let that happen.

I also like the structured shoulders and chest for this SBPL jacket. I probably wouldn’t have gone with patch pockets myself given the relative formality of the jacket. Agree that the tie knot looks big.

Thank you. I've had issues trying to find a good OTR fit, so I'm glad this fits the bill.

The tie is a single FIH, but the materials is very thick. Will try to work on making it smaller.

And I'll play with the sleeves to show more shirt.

The patch pockets are an interesting feature considering it's a suit. Next time, will stick to flaps for a suit.

You might try a wider lapel and slightly higher rise, but it's a comfy, relaxed, coherent look imo. Anything about it that bugs you?
I like the idea of this thread so I post it here for some feedback. I felt high rise trousers some how gives you a "menswear" vibe, although by posting here and taking menswear selfie I am definitely a member of menswear community .
I like that the outfit is very congruent in a relaxed Ivy way. Brass buttons, button-down collar, rumpled chinos that aren't too slim. Looks comfortable.
Thanks, this is the impression I am looking for.

One of the reason I avoided high rise trousers is that they look kind of silly without a jacket, especially in the eyes of "normies". And it's true the cloth of the chino really lends toward the causal side, it wrinkle like crazy and can't hold creases for more than two minutes, but like OP said let us just embrace it.

I think that higher rise trousers actually look good even without a jacket imo. Maybe I've drank too much Style Forum kool-aid, but it just looks more proportionate imo

Prince Albert / DFIH has the telltale underlap right at the bottom of the tie knot, like so, usually:

I don't think most men will even know what a rise is. Many women will. Unless you have a short torso and very very long legs, a high rise will increase your proportion and look better. I even wear mid/high rise selvedge denim - better balances the body and creates a leg line.

Not sure what you mean by embrace it? If the goal is to improve fits, I think the pants are the biggest problem w/ the outfit, they don't seem to accord w/ the rest of the outfit as laid out above.

I think solid color tie look better with heavily textured materials, and this one look kind of too smooth.

I agree w/ Polo on this. I have a hard time w/ solid color smooth ties.

would appreciate any comments/thoughts on this OTR fit.

Hate to beat a dead horse, but these double handed crossbody selfies are def hard to judge. My impressions are this:
1 - Love this fabric, looks great.
2- Love the belly on this lapel. Delightful.
3 - As pointed out hard to judge sleeve length, but my guess is that the shirt sleeves are too short.
4 - As pointed out, tie knot sticks out negatively to me. Crazy thats a FIH, looks huge. FIH also looks weird w/ no dimple.
5 - I think this outfit needs a pocket square.
6 - I hate patch pockets + peak lapel. I don't know why, I just do. I like peak lapels. I even like SBPL (Which some well respected here have lamented). I like patch pockets. Mixing them feels ... IDK some sort of #menswear frankenmonster.
7 - Dig the belly on this breast pocket.

Rise aside (I don’t disagree that a higher rise would look good) the more casual wrinkled chinos go fine with the overall look of the outfit . To me it’s a New England prep look.
Dressier chinos with a sharp crease would also work but It’d be a different aesthetic IMO.

The tie is a silk/cotton blend, and is very chunky/textured. Might work better with a SC.

I appreciate the detailed comments!
