Hey guys!

I recently purchase a light/medium gray suit. The problem is, we're had a hot spell here and I wore it to a function that was in a "warm" room...now I have sweat stains under the arms of my jacket...how do I clean it?

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply...

Is that the only way? I'd hate to have to take the suit to the dry cleaners every time I'm wear it during a hot day....

Wear a shirt under the suit instead of going shirtless or get a better deodorant!
Really...a sweat stain on the pits of a suit?? Do you wear an undershirt?

I actually have this problem on the knees of my suit pants. I can't wear light color trousers in the summer because I sweat right through them at my knee caps. It sounds and looks totally ridiculous, but it is the case. I just had made some 8oz trousers to wear in the summer and had them lined past the knee in the front.

install microcapsules filled with vinegar in your armhole. crush when sweat levels pass acceptable tolerances.

this is weird. after just one wear ? and on a new suit?

either your sweat is really viscous, or the sweat stain was there previously.

sweat will profuse through the dress shirt (and undershirt) but it will only be the moisture or water. the gland oils will be held back by the shirt. so the yellow or what have you will end there.

the coat should dry out to clean.

unless you wore it several times and sweated profusely each time then the gland oils will eventually stain the jacket.

but even then, you should hardly see it if it was done only once or twice.

this sounds like it is a very apparent sweat yellow stain which tells me either it was preowned or you sweat like honey.
