Choosing a coat

What’s up everyone! I need to choose a coat so your help will be appreciated. The questions are.



1) What you think of this coat? People say it looks too big for me in the shoulders (it’s 46 size). Are they right?



2) Is it possible to make it smaller? People tell me that I should forget about this one because they say it doesn’t look good on me.



3) What brands should I look for? (I live in Latvia)



4) What kind of fabric coat should be so I won’t feel cold during the winter?

Yes, it looks a bit big, you should size down or look for a different brand.

Also - what are you planning on wearing the coat with? That's a bit formal of an overcaot - so it belongs more with suit/tie than jeans and casual wear.

The coat is too large. You and I have similar complexion and hair color (though my beard is not so slowly turning grey), and I do not particularly like that color on myself. I would look at a darker and less yellow/orange brown if you wanted to stay in that color, though I have found that the dark greens and blues work well with my complexion and hair.

I will also echo that you need think about the outfits you will be pairing with this coat. It will seem jarring paired with trainers and a t-shirt, though I think it could still work in a "smart casual" sense but may need some experimenting, and with a sportcoat or suit.

What you think of this one? (in terms of color and fit) Which color in your opinion looks better on me – grey or camel one?

I like the grey one better, color and fit.

The perspective is a bit distorted in the photo. So, it's tough to tell if the coat looks too long on you or not. No doubt it's a better color choice for casual. But, it may be a bit large on you still. If you can get a better photo where you don't have as much distortion it would be easier to judge if the coat fits well or not

Hello fellas! Okay, so my stylist says that camel color fits me really good. So I have to choose some camel color coat I guess. Which one out of them all you think looks the best? Or they all are bad? Also is it possible to make some big coat smaller so it would fit me better? (I’m talking about the third one on the collage)



Also today I was walking around the malls whole afternoon and got a bunch of new photos of coats with different color. Maybe you could help me choose some of them too?
