Just sitting here bemoaning the garbage that Florsheim is now. For such a rich group of people, you would think the Jews would never let something like that happen. Anyway, are there any Chinese brands on the radar these days?

Sir,

One recalls having a fine pair of shoes made, what are often referred to in these environs as 'wing tips'.

It was Peking in the 1940s but the name escapes. Something to do with chicken: a street? Fine, anyway. Lasted until the mid-seventies, if I am not mistaken.

The opium still remains, alas not the footwear.

I switched to Greens and Church's.

I hope this has been useful.

Yours,

Smith.

There's nothing borderline about that.

I like this. SF needs more gimmick posters.

Uh. I hate how slow CN sites are to load here in Canada. Forget it. Alden ftw.

Saw your blog. Interesting. A *********** here does private lending. Based on your one picture, there must be serious need for it. Goofy interest rates if you can handle the risk :)

I'm sure there is a large demand for the local moneylenders and loan-sharks. Borrowing money from the regular state owned banks can be quite difficult for much of the peasantry and proletariat.

Your sub button is broken :p
ANd you need a facebook share button.

Wonder if that's a Tumblr issue, the sub button was working. Can one add a Facebook like or share button to a Tumblr blog? I've not seen a FB button in any of the templates that are available.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
